Canada welcomes the Cassina Store Toronto in collaboration with the partner Elte. The company’s first monobrand store in the territory, this inauguration marks another milestone in Cassina’s international expansion strategy and represents an opportunity to introduce its eclectic vision of the home and to reinforce its presence in Canada.

Developed on a total area of 503 m², the space was designed to perfectly reflect the company’s philosophy enclosed in ‘The Cassina Perspective’. Here, the Cassina collections are highlighted in welcoming atmospheres, where icons by the great masters sit alongside the most innovative products.

Among these, the Esosoft system by Antonio Citterio, the Soriana armchair by Afra & Tobia Scarpa and the Sengu Bold sofa system by Art Director Patricia Urquiola are just some of the pieces that decorate these atmospheres.

Inside the store, a unique pop-up installation honours the 50^th anniversary of the Cassina iMaestri Collection, celebrated in 2023. This area also showcases the book ‘Echoes, Cassina. 50 Years of iMaestri’, curated by Ivan Mietton and published by Rizzoli New York, together with some artistic photographs shot for the volume, in a cross-reference between their two-dimensionality and the three-dimensionality of the products exhibited.

During the opening event, a Cassina artisan will work the 699 Superleggera chair by Gio Ponti, one of the icons of the emblematic collection, putting the spotlight on the company’s manufacturing excellence.
